Hi there!

My name is Virginia Henderson. You can call me Ginny. I have worked in orthopedic physical therapy environments for 25 years and more recently with the pediatric population. As a mom of kids with special needs, I've been doing pediatric PT for longer than the resumé shows!

I graduated from UTHSC-SA and TWU, did a manual therapy fellowship with MTI, and completed my Sc.D. at Texas Tech. I'm kind of an education nerd, which is why I love teaching, training, and helping others through Henderson Therapy Solutions.

My Story

I got into physical therapy after seeing a documentary on helping orphans behind the Iron Curtain in the 1990's. That marked me so deeply that I have spent the time since then making space for people who are vulnerable. I love being a part of people's stories and their healing, so physical therapy is the perfect fit for me. Part of that sense of calling is helping others do the same, which is why I have shifted focus from the clinic (where I still see patients a few hours per week) into education. I use the tools and resources on this site regularly and want them to be helpful to therapists like you so that you can be part of the story and healing of others.
